Maike DeMaria

In 2020, Capabilitix was founded by current CEO and President Maike DeMaria because she saw a need in the North Alabama community for a Business Development and operational support company that would put the customer’s mission first. Maike’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from multiple moves as a spouse of a member of the Armed Forces and her early years as a Project Manager in Germany.  During her 38-year international professional career, she worked in large corporations, non-profit organizations, and small businesses in a variety of leadership positions. These experiences and lessons learned in the diverse fields of business built the foundation for Maike’s business ethics and fueled her passion for supporting organizations in growth as well as compliance through Business Development. training, and policies.

As the Founder and CEO of Capabilitix, Maike DeMaria has attained multiple degrees and certificates in many disciplines including: Business, Healthcare, Management, Training, and Human Resources Management. During her 35-year international professional career, she worked in large corporations, non-profit organizations, and small businesses in a variety of leadership positions. Geographically, her opportunities have been in Germany and the United States.

In her effort to give back to the community, Maike is involved in seven + non-profits and is a valued member of several committees and one Board of Directors. These non–profits include the American Heart Association, Kids-to-Love, Nexus Energy, and The Catalyst. Ms. DeMaria also supports local transitioning Veterans by evaluating, writing resumes, and conducting Mock-Interviews' and interview preparations. She is a member of the Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC) and a mentor for the WEDC Foundation. Additionally, she is an Adjunct Instructor at Athens State University and often asked by other instructors to provide specific trainings. Maike and her family have been part of the Madison, Alabama community for 7 years supporting local school systems and community events.

Over the last decade, Maike has continued to support the North Alabama community as a servant leader. Maike prides herself on taking a global approach to using the empowerment of diverse cultures to do the right things for the community and her clients.
